Redmi K90 Ultra Key Specs Surfaced Online with Dimensity 9500 SoC and 8,500mAh Battery

Redmi is working on an expanded K90 lineup with the addition of a new model dubbed the K90 Ultra. While the company has yet to announce an official launch timeline, a fresh leak has now surfaced, shedding light on the phone’s key specifications.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Redmi K90 Ultra will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset. This would mark a shift from the Redmi K90 Pro Max, which debuted with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.

The Ultra variant is tipped to feature a massive 8,500mAh battery, although Redmi is reportedly exploring the possibility of including an even larger capacity cell. It is also expected to support 100W wired fast charging.

The leak further suggests that the handset will come equipped with an in-built cooling fan and a high refresh rate display. Previously, the same tipster claimed that the Redmi K90 Ultra would sport a 6.8-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. Additional details point to a metal frame and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
