REDMAGIC 9S Pro and 9S Pro+ launched with 6.8-inch 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC Leading version, up to 24GB RAM
REDMAGIC has launched its latest flagship gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 9S Pro and RedMagic 9S Pro+ in China. These new models succeed last year’s REDMAGIC 9 Pro and 9 Pro+. Both run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading version along with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage and are based on Android 14 with Redmagic OS 9.5.
Both the REDMAGIC 9S Pro and 9S Pro+ feature the advanced ICE 13.5 cooling system, which includes a 10182mm² single-layer vapor chamber (VC) plate and a new frost cooling gel to reduce thermal resistance and lower the core temperature to 19.5°C. An upgraded 22,000 rpm high-speed turbofan with shark-fin blades operates almost silently at just 4dB.
Additional features include custom RGB lights for the shoulder buttons and an eye protection solution with 2160 Hz PWM+DC dimming.
AI Gaming features -
The REDMAGIC 9 Pro series' Game Space has received extensive upgrades and enhancements with the integration of new gaming and AI features powered by the REDMAGIC 9.5 operating system. The Smart Navigator Gaming feature provides real-time recommendations on popular game-related topics and offers voice-to-text input for quick inquiries. The AI Trigger allows users to customize trigger conditions based on their gaming habits for seamless automatic recognition.
Sound Recognition technology is used to automatically identify and utilize sound logos on the mini map, aiding in-game decision-making. Additionally, the REDMAGIC Moments feature enables automatic capture and editing of screenshots and clips, and converts in-game highlights into game atmosphere images for the game lobby.
The upgraded interactive REDMAGIC AI, along with Mora, the brand’s mascot, now offers voice-activated wake-up capabilities, alarm setting, and periodic transitions of the video display to a gaming-themed map. The AI integration enhances scene recognition, improving the accuracy of accompanying play functions by over 30%. For example, the AI assistant can remind users to use up all bullets, providing valuable in-game guidance.
Moreover, the AI features of the REDMAGIC 9S Pro and REDMAGIC 9S Pro+, within the REDMAGIC Cube in Game Space, include AI Photo, AI Image Enlargement, AI Wallpapers, AI Writing Assistant, AI summary support, Smart AI content recommendations, Screen recognition, AI search, and AI Voice assistants.

The REDMAGIC 9S Pro and REDMAGIC 9S Pro+ are now open for ordering in China, with availability starting from July 9th, 2024. The international release of the REDMAGIC 9S Pro will follow shortly, with an announcement scheduled for July 16, 2024.
