Realme Smart TV SLED 4K 55″ launching in India on October 7 with Chroma Boost Picture Engine, HDR10+, HLG
Today, Realme has confirmed the launch of its new Realme smart TV SLED 4K 55″ in India on October 7th, and it will available on Flipkart during the Big Billion Days sale. Recently, realme has revealed the world’s first SLED 4K Smart TV with some of its features. The SLED Display Technology is co-developed by realme and John Rooymans, Chief Scientist of SPD Technology (Spectral Power Distribution).
Adopting leading SPD technology for TV blacklight, the realme Smart TV SLED 4K 55″ has unprecedented ultra-wide color gamut and eye-care with low blue light, as per the company. It has an unprecedented ultra-wide color gamut up to 108% NTSC with leading RGB Backlight Technology. It comes with Chroma Boost Picture Engine with support of HDR10+ and HLG that gives up to 400nits ultra brightness with better picture quality.
The SLED display is based on Industry-leading RGB Backlight Technology that brings more natural viewing experience with SPD technology. While the mostly LED TVs including QLED use a blue backlight which turned to white, where realme SLED panel uses RGB for the initial stage that also reduces the harmful effects of blue light and providing higher color purity. Generally, the white backlight formed from RGB three basic colors combination, which has quite a higher ability of color representation, so realme SLED achieves a more notable wider color gamut and eye protection as compared to the QLED panel.
Realme Smart TV SLED 4K 55″ Powered by SLED Display Technology has passed through TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification. The SLED Display Technology for TVs is the only one apart from OLED TVs to have passed this certification.
