Realme GT5 Pro launched with 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor
Realme has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the realme GT5 Pro, at an event in China, as promised. It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE X1 AMOLED screen boasting 4500 nits brightness, a Pro-XDR high dynamic display, Dolby Vision, 2160Hz PWM dimming, DC dimming, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 20,000-level dimming.
With ultra-narrow bezels, the phone's chin is remarkably slim at just 1.94mm. Driving its performance is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, accompanied by up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The device incorporates a 3VC iceberg cooling system with a substantial area of 12,000mm² and introduces Geek Performance Panel 2.0, enabling GPU+CPU dual scheduling for the first time.
The smartphone showcases a nano leather finish for the red and white variants, while the black variant incorporates Star Flash AG glass technology. Its camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera equipped with a Sony IMX890 sensor. The telephoto camera supports 3X optical zoom, 6X Lossless zoom, telephoto close-ups, and low-light telephoto portraits.
Powering the device is a robust 5400mAh battery featuring 100W flash charging, complemented by 50W wireless flash charging. It achieves a remarkable 50% charge in just 12 minutes through wired charging, and the battery maintains over 80% health even after enduring 1600 charging cycles.

The Realme GT5 Pro will be available from December 14th in China and the pre-order has started from today. Customers will get a 100 yuan discount during the first sale.
