Realme GT5 to be launched on August 28 with up to 240W fast charging, 24GB RAM, 1TB storage
Realme has officially confirmed the launch event of its latest smartphone the realme GT5 in China on August 28th as a part of its 5th anniversary, after a leak and rumors. In a recent communication, Sky Li, the CEO of the company, discussed the company's remarkable growth.
Just today, he revealed that within the past five years, realme has continuously exceeded expectations, emerging as one of the world's top 10 smartphone brands, with a presence in 21 countries. He emphasized that realme aspires to be a preferred mobile phone brand among the younger generation.
During the event, he announced that realme remains committed to its "Dare to Leap" ethos and unveiled plans for their "Leap-Forward Climbing" initiative and the Fifth Anniversary Leap Up Product, set to be introduced at the upcoming "Leap Up" Press Conference.
Recently, Realme has officially announced its upcoming phone's impressive specifications, which include rapid 240W fast charging capabilities and the potential for a spacious 1TB of storage. Building on prior speculations, this phone is anticipated to sport a 1.5K flat AMOLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, an independent X7 display chip, the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and the option for a generous 24GB of RAM. Furthermore, it is expected to offer two variants of fast charging, with options for both 240W and 150W charging speeds.
