Realme has officially confirmed the launch of its next flagship smartphone, the realme GT 8 Pro in India on November 20th, after a series of teasers. The device marks a major leap in smartphone innovation, particularly with its groundbreaking camera system.
New Horizons in Mobile Imaging -

The realme GT 8 Pro will debut with RICOH GR-powered camera technology, born out of a collaboration between realme and RICOH IMAGING. This partnership brings the professional-grade optics and distinctive photographic aesthetics of the RICOH GR series to the smartphone arena.
At the heart of the system lies a co-engineered ultra-high transparency lens group, designed in partnership with RICOH IMAGING and claimed to meet RICOH GR optical standards for superior clarity and reduced glare. The device also includes a dedicated RICOH GR Mode, featuring two classic focal lengths—28mm and 40mm—and five exclusive RICOH GR Tones, crafted to replicate RICOH’s signature photographic style.
Performance and Design -

Staying true to the GT Series legacy, the GT 8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with the Hyper Vision AI Chip for improved performance, visual processing, and efficiency. It houses a 7000mAh battery with 120W SuperVOOC fast charging, promising both endurance and speed.

On the design front, realme introduces an industry-first innovation—the world’s first switchable camera bump, enabling users to personalize the device’s appearance. The flagship also incorporates sustainability into its design with a paper-like Leather back panel, crafted from recycled plastics and textiles using Photonic Nano-Carving technology for a detailed, premium texture.
The realme GT 8 Pro will be available in two color variants—Diary White and Urban Blue.
