Realme C83 5G launched in India starting at Rs. 13,499 with 6.8-inch 144Hz display, Dimensity 6300 SoC, 7000mAh battery
Realme has launched its latest C-series smartphone, the realme C83 5G, in India, as previously announced. It features a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with up to 6GB of RAM, along with support for up to 12GB of dynamic RAM expansion.
The device runs realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. For photography, it includes a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It also introduces AI Outdoor Mode, a smart feature designed to improve usability in outdoor conditions. Using AI, it enhances system performance, increases speaker volume, improves network responsiveness, and boosts display brightness for better visibility under bright sunlight and while on the move.
The realme C83 5G sports a familiar vertical camera module housing dual rear cameras. It is available in Blooming Purple, inspired by the soft bloom of forget-me-nots with a subtle blend of blue and purple tones, and Sprouting Green, a shade inspired by the deep green of fresh growth that reflects a calm and natural aesthetic.
The phone carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and features ArmorShell Protection. It has also received MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance certification for added durability. Powering the device is a 7000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. realme claims the phone is designed to deliver up to six years of reliable usage, and it also supports reverse wired charging and bypass charging.
