Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Mobile Platform launched with 7% Performance Boost, Dual 5G SIM Support, Wi-Fi 6E
Qualcomm has quietly introduced the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Mobile Platform, its latest 4nm mid-range SoC and successor to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. The update brings a modest performance bump, with the prime core clock speed raised from 2.5GHz to 2.7GHz.
Compared to its predecessor, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 delivers around 7% better CPU and GPU performance, and supports WFHD+ 144Hz HDR10+ displays. It continues to offer compatibility with a wide range of LLMs and LVMs, including Llama 1B, Qwen 1B, and others.
The platform retains a 12-bit triple ISP with support for up to 4K HDR video recording and integrates the Snapdragon 5G Modem-RF System. With 5G Dual-SIM Dual-Active (DSDA), users can run two 5G SIMs or 5G+4G simultaneously. Connectivity is handled by the Qualcomm FastConnect Mobile Connectivity System, offering Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6E.

Xiaomi will be the first to adopt the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, debuting it in the REDMI Note 15 Pro+, which is scheduled to launch in China tomorrow.
