POCO F4 will be launched soon in India; Appointed Himanshu Tandon as India Head
Today, POCO has announced that it has appointed Himanshu Tandon as India's head of POCO after Anuj Sharma has moved from POCO back to Xiaomi as the Chief Marketing Officer. The company said that he has been a part of the founding team of POCO in India and has helped scale the brand over the years. Before joining Poco, he was a senior manager-regional business manager and corporate strategy at Videocon Mobiles.
The company also confirmed that it will launch a new POCO F series smartphone globally including in India, after the launch of the F4 GT smartphone globally. According to the rumors, this will be the POCO F4 surfaced in the Geekbench listing with model number 22021211RG which reveals Snapdragon 870 processor with 6GB RAM and Android 12. This could be the rebranded version of the Redmi K40S that was launched in China back in March.
POCO also announced that it is expanding its after-sales reach to 2000+ service centers across the country. “With this expansion, we will be working towards ensuring enhanced customer experience across the country,” said POCO.
