Original Moto 360 won't be updated to Android Wear 2.0
Just like the first-gen LG G Watch, the original Moto 360 won't be updated to Android Wear 2.0.
The new Android Wear 2.0 OS brings in a handful of new features including handwriting recognition, watch face customization and standalone apps that don't need your phone to be tethered. But all of this is not coming to the original Moto 360, and the reason could be the obsolete TI OMAP SoC inside.
Motorola however did clarify that the Moto 360 will get software and security patches, when necessary.
