OPPO Reno15 Series launching in India with Reno15 Pro Mini on January 8th, 200MP Cameras, and PureTone AI Imaging

OPPO India has confirmed the launch of its latest smartphones in the Reno15 Series, the Reno15 Pro, Reno15, and a new addition to the range, the Reno15 Pro Mini, set to take place on January 8, 2026. Positioned as a premium, imaging-focused lineup, the series targets travel enthusiasts and photography users by combining high-resolution camera hardware with OPPO’s new PureTone Technology and a range of AI-powered editing features.

Design Highlights -

The Reno15 Series debuts HoloFusion Technology, a new design approach that delivers a three-dimensional, layered visual effect on a seamless, sculpted one-piece glass back. Complementing this is OPPO’s Dynamic Stellar Ring Design, featuring a square-ring camera module that produces a halo-like effect under direct light while blending smoothly with the rear panel.

Reno15 Pro Mini and Display Focus -

One of the key changes in this generation is the introduction of the Reno15 Pro Mini, aimed at users who prefer a more compact smartphone without compromising on flagship-level features and performance.

All models in the Reno15 Series feature a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 10-bit colour depth, delivering smooth visuals while optimising power efficiency.

To enhance long-term durability, OPPO has equipped the Reno15 Series with its All-Round Armour Body, a reinforced structural design built around two key innovations:

• Sponge Bionic Cushioning - Inspired by the porous, shock-absorbing structure of sea sponges, this internal cushioning system helps disperse impact energy from drops, protecting critical internal components.
• Aerospace-Grade Aluminium Frame - The reinforced frame offers up to 200% higher yield strength than conventional plastic frames, resulting in a 36% improvement in drop resistance.

The series also delivers strong environmental protection, earning IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications. These ratings cover dust resistance, immersion in up to 1.5 metres of freshwater for 30 minutes, and protection against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. In addition, the charging ports feature a platinum coating to improve corrosion resistance over time.
