OPPO Reno9 Pro+ and Reno9 Pro launched with 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1/Dimensity 8100-Max SoC and Reno9
OPPO has launched its latest flagship smartphones in the Reno9 series the OPPO Reno9, Reno9 Pro, and Reno9 Pro+ smartphones, as they promised. These have a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Reno9 runs on the Snapdragon 778G processor, while the Reno9 Pro has Dimensity 8100-MAX and the Reno9 Pro+ has an under-clocked (3GHz) Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. These come with up to 16GB LPDDRR RAM, and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage and are based on Android 13 with ColorOS 13.
The Reno9 and the Reno9 Pro have a 5600mm² cooling area that provides a 10% cooling performance improvement from the predecessor and has a 3100mm² VC liquid cooling area. The Pro+ has an Aerospace grade diamond cooling system that provides 50% cooling performance improvement, ultra-density graphite, 5612mm² cooling area, 74% more dissipation area, and 3165mm² VC cooling area.
The Reno9 has a dual rear camera setup where a 64MP primary camera along with a 2MP B&W depth sensor camera. The Reno9 Pro and Reno9 Pro+ have a 50MP primary rear camera but Pro+ has the latest Sony IMX890 sensor along with 8MP ultra-wide camera and Pro+ also has a 2MP depth sensor with MariSilicon X NPU. OPPO Reno9 and Reno 9 are powered by a 4500mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging, and OPPO Reno9 Pro+ has 4700mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging
The Gold version has “Gold Silk Glass Technology & Weaving Feather Pattern Technology”. Through the weaving pattern process, the glass grows a crystal structure and arranges the growth in a predetermined direction, and grows two different texture structures on a piece of black glass, says the company.

Pricing and Availability -
The OPPO Reno9 comes in Red, Black, Gold, and Gradient colors, and it will be available from December 10th in China, pre-order has started from December 2nd.
OPPO Reno9 Pro comes in Black, Gold, and Gradient colors, and OPPO Reno9 Pro+ comes in Black, Gold, and Green colors. The Reno 9 Pro and Reno 9 Pro+ will be available from December 2nd in China. No details about the global roll-out yet.
