OPPO has launched its latest smartphones in the Reno14 series, the OPPO Reno14 and Reno14 Pro smartphones at an event in China, as previously announced. The Reno14 sports a 6.59-inch flat display, while the Pro variant features a larger 6.83-inch flat screen. Both use AMOLED panels with a 1.5K resolution and 3840Hz PWM dimming, replacing the quad-curved screens seen in their predecessors.

The Reno14 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC, the same chip used in the Reno13. The Reno14 Pro, however, is equipped with the newer and faster Dimensity 8450 SoC. According to OPPO, both models incorporate a nano ice crystal heat dissipation system that offers triple the thermal efficiency of previous generations.

These smartphones offer configurations of up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage. They include OPPO’s X1 chip for enhanced network performance, come with a metal frame, and boast IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance. An optical in-display fingerprint sensor is also included.

Camera setups include a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus. The Pro variant adds a 50MP ultra-wide camera, while the standard Reno14 has an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Battery capacities are 6000mAh for the Reno14 and 6200mAh for the Pro, with 80W fast charging supported on both. The Pro model also supports 50W wireless charging.
