OPPO Reno12 and Reno12 Pro Global Specs Surfaced Online with 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 7300 SoC
OPPO has initiated teasers for the global debut of the Reno12 series, following a benchmark leak that unveiled the phones will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. This chip represents an upgrade for the Reno12, as its predecessor, the Reno11, featured Dimensity 7050, while the Reno11 Pro boasted the more potent Dimensity 8200 SoC.
Recent leaks have disclosed the complete specifications of the phones, showcasing notable deviations from their Chinese counterparts.
The global models will feature an FHD+ screen, a downgrade from the 1.5K resolution found in the Chinese variants. Additionally, the camera configuration in the Reno12 is undergoing a reduction, with reports suggesting a replacement of the 50MP 2x telephoto camera with a 2MP macro camera.
OPPO is reportedly introducing features like Al Eraser 2.0, Al Studio, Al Smart Image Matting 2.0, Al Portrait Retouching, Al Clear Face, and Al LinkBoost. Moreover, rumours are indicating that OPPO will omit the charger from the box for the first time.
