OPPO Find X8 Ultra launched with 6.82-inch 2K 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, Quad 50MP cameras
OPPO has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone in the new Find X8 series, the Find X8 Ultra, during a launch event in China, just as previously teased. It features a 6.82-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED LTPO display with a dynamic 1–120Hz refresh rate, ultra-slim 1.4mm bezels, 10-bit color depth, and ProXDR technology.
It also supports Dolby Vision for an enhanced viewing experience. A new shortcut key is introduced, enabling AI one-key flash memory and customizable functions with a single press. It runs on the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It features an aerospace-grade cooling system, incorporating a large vapor chamber and a dual-layer 2000W/(m·K) high-performance graphite solution.
The Find X8 Ultra boasts a versatile five-camera system, including dual periscope telephoto lenses. Its main sensor is a 1-inch 50MP Sony Lytia LYT-900 and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. It also features a 50MP Sony LYT-700 periscope telephoto lens with OIS for 3x optical zoom (70mm) and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens with OIS for 6x optical zoom (135mm). The camera system leverages OPPO's LUMO imaging technology and continues its collaboration with Hasselblad for advanced portrait capabilities.
A new 2MP spectral color sensor has been added for pixel-level color analysis, delivering vivid and accurate color reproduction, especially for skin tones, and elevating portrait photography. The phone supports Dolby Vision video recording in 4K at 60FPS across all focal lengths and 4K at 120FPS with zoom capabilities ranging from 1x to 10x.
The device is equipped with a 602mm³ bionic super vibration motor for enhanced haptic feedback and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering top-tier protection against dust and water. It houses a large 6100mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Additionally, it is compatible with magnetic accessories.
