Oppo F5 with Dual Front Cameras and Full-screen 18:9 Display to be Announced on October 26
Oppo has officially confirmed that they are going to launch the Oppo F5, selfie-centric smartphone on October 26 in Phillipenes. The phone is expected to have a full-screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio and feature dual front cameras. At the back, there will be a single camera along with the fingerprint sensor which couldn't find a way in the front due to the thinner bezels around the display.
Oppo has been teasing the smartphone on Facebook as well as across several malls in Manila.
Based on leaked specifications, the Oppo F5 is expected to have a 6-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The main highlight of the device will be its dual 16 MP front cameras while at the back there will be a single 20MP camera with LED flash.
Under the hood, the Oppo F5 is expected to be powered by the newly minted Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 6 GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which would be expandable with a hybrid SIM card slot.
We will get to know more about the Oppo F5 in the coming weeks, including availability in India and China. Oppo generally launches its smartphones in several markets at the same time, so we may expect similar events or announcements in other countries as well.
