OPPO F31, F31 Pro and F31 Pro+ 5G launched in India Starting from Rs. 22,999 with 6.57/6.8-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED Screen, 7000mAh battery

OPPO has launched its latest smartphones in the F31 series, the OPPO F31, F31 Pro, and F31 Pro+ 5G in India, as previously announced. The lineup is equipped with enhanced vapor chambers and advanced thermal management systems to control heat, while a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging ensures all-day usage.

For durability, the series features a 360° Armour Body with multi-layer shock absorption and comes with IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for resistance against drops, dust, and water.

Additionally, the OPPO F31 series has earned an A+ certification from SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance) for High-Temperature Fluency, validating consistent frame rates, responsive touch, and smooth animations even during intensive tasks.

Performance and Thermal Design -

The F31 Pro+ is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, a 4nm chipset featuring an octa-core Kryo CPU with a 2.63GHz Cortex-A715 Prime core, paired with an Adreno 720 GPU and the Qualcomm AI Engine. Together, these deliver up to a 60% boost in performance per watt. The device supports up to 24GB RAM (12GB physical + 12GB virtual) and UFS 3.1 storage. A 5,219 mm² vapor chamber, 856 mm² larger than its predecessor, enhances heat dissipation.

The F31 Pro comes with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300-Energy processor, also based on a 4nm process, with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. Like the Pro+, it offers up to 24GB RAM (12GB physical + 12GB virtual) and UFS 3.1 storage. Its 4,363 mm² vapor chamber, combined with expanded graphite layers, helps manage thermal output efficiently.

The standard F31 is powered by the 6nm Dimensity 6300 SoC and features a 4,300 mm² vapor chamber with extended graphite coverage, offering a 21% improvement in thermal efficiency compared to the previous generation.

All three models include the Network Boost Chip N1, which dynamically detects interference and adjusts antenna performance to ensure optimal signal strength, regardless of how the phone is held.

Software and System Fluency -

The F31 series runs ColorOS 15, featuring OPPO’s Dual-Engine Smoothness System (Trinity Engine + Luminous Rendering Engine). The devices are guaranteed 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches.

An adaptive heat management strategy raises the throttling threshold from 42°C to 44–45°C, helping maintain performance in warmer environments. These enhancements are part of OPPO’s 72-Month Fluency Protection 2.0, which incorporates storage defragmentation and intelligent pre-loading to ensure consistent performance for up to six years.

Productivity and AI Tools -

The F31 Series comes with a suite of AI-powered features designed for productivity. AI VoiceScribe can record meetings or calls and deliver real-time translation, subtitles, and summaries in over 29 languages, including Hindi, English, and Kannada.

The AI Call Assistant, powered by Google’s Gemini model, enables real-time translation for both sides of a call. OPPO Docs leverages AI to summarize, translate, or rewrite documents, while the AI Notes Assistant can reorganize unstructured text and correct errors.

Camera Systems -

The F31 Pro+ is equipped with a 32MP front camera and a dual rear camera system, featuring a 50MP main sensor (OV50D40) with two-axis OIS and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The F31 Pro offers a similar configuration with OIS optical zoom, while the standard F31 carries a 50MP primary sensor, two 2MP portrait lenses, and a 16MP front camera.

Across the series, the phones support 4K video recording at 30fps and even 4K underwater photography, thanks to their IP68 rating, which allows submersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

Battery and Charging -

All F31 models house a 7,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, which OPPO claims can charge up to 58% in 30 minutes and fully charge in just over an hour.

The phones also support wired reverse charging and include bypass charging, which directs power straight to the device during gaming sessions—helping reduce heat buildup and extending battery health.
