OnePlus will introduce Next-Gen Battery on June 20th; Ace3 Pro Rumored to Feature 6100mAh Glacier Battery
OnePlus has scheduled an event in Shenzhen, China on June 20th to unveil a significant milestone in high-performance battery technology for mobile phones. According to the company, this development marks the beginning of a new era in battery life experience.
Describing the technology as "super capacity," OnePlus emphasized its collaboration with CATL, known as the “King of Lithium Batteries,” to bring about this breakthrough. The company promises that this innovation will eliminate the need for frequent charging, reduce the anxiety of running out of power, and render power banks unnecessary.
6100mAh Glacier Battery -
The upcoming OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is rumoured to be the first device to feature this 6100mAh "Glacier Battery," according to Leaker Digital Chat Station. This battery will incorporate new silicon-carbon negative electrode material and an upgraded cell process, resulting in a more compact design with a thickness of 8.x mm. It will also support 100W fast charging, allowing it to be fully charged in about half an hour.

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to feature a 1.5K 8T LTPO curved screen with up to 6000 nits of peak brightness, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and a 50MP main camera. The phone is anticipated to launch in China in early July, with more details likely to be revealed at the June 20th event.
