OnePlus 9 RT could be launch in October with 120Hz AMOLED display, 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, OxygenOS 12
OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9R smartphone back in March in the OnePlus 9 series, but it has almost similar specifications as the OnePlus 8T with a slight change in the design. Now, the new rumors revealed that the company will do not launch the OnePlus 9T or OnePlus 9T Pro this year, but there will be chances to announced OnePlus 9T with Snapdragon 888+ SoC.
Recently, a new report revealed that the company is working on a new smartphone the OnePlus 9 RT, which will be the successor of the OnePlus 9R. The smartphone is said to come with a similar FHD+ 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display and a 4500mAh battery with 65W charging as same as the 9R. But this phone will feature an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 870 that could be Snapdragon 870+ SoC overclocked, which will become the first phone in the market.
There will be a change in the main rear camera compared to the 48MP rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor in the 9R, where the OnePlus 9RT will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor that was used in the OnePlus Nord 2 and 9 series. It is also said to works on OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box, and it will be based on ColorOS, same as the Nord 2, but will use OnePlus apps and come with floating windows, new privacy features, and a theme store. The first OxygenOS 12 public beta is expected to roll out for the OnePlus 9 series, expected in September with closed beta releasing by the end of August.
The OnePlus 9RT is expected to launch in India and China sometime later in October, unlike the OnePlus 8T which was launched in September last year. But, no information will launch in Europe or North America.
