OnePlus 15R launching in India on December 17th with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, 50MP camera

OnePlus has officially confirmed that the OnePlus 15R, the latest addition to the OnePlus 15 series, will launch in India on December 17th, after a teaser.

The phone will ship with Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 and boasts extensive protection with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. OnePlus is also offering a lifetime display warranty against green line issues.

It will be available in Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze colour options. The company says the device features a flat metal mid-frame and a camera module positioned at a precise 45-degree angle from the top-left corner.

OnePlus Ace 6T 15R colors india.

The design closely resembles the OnePlus Ace 6T, which is set to debut in China later this week with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and an 8000mAh+ battery. However, the Indian variant is expected to include a 50MP + 50MP dual rear camera setup, replacing the 50MP + 8MP configuration on the Chinese model.

OnePlus will reveal more details about the 15R in the coming weeks. As usual, the smartphone will be available via Amazon.in, the OnePlus India online store, and offline retail partners after launch.
