OnePlus 12 launched in India starting at Rs.64,999 with 6.82-inch 2K 1-120Hz LTPO AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC
OnePlus has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12 in India, as promised earlier. It comes with a 6.82-inch BOE X1 2K AMOLED display, featuring a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, it offers up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Noteworthy is the inclusion of a 9140mm² VC heat dissipation area.
The OnePlus 12 incorporates a self-developed Display P1 chip, specially optimized for extended high brightness usage, and embraces a "TIME Design" inspired by luxury watches. This design includes a hollow-curved design, time scales, a starry dial, and circular characters on the camera module symbolizing the passage of time.
The Flowy Emerald variant features emerald green glass technology with patterns inspired by the braided channels of the Dart River, while the black variant showcases a matte finish crafted with silk glass craftsmanship. The back is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Keeping the distinct three-stage alert slide, the OnePlus 12 relocates it to the left-hand side, facilitating a new integrated antenna and Alert Slider solution, which enhances antenna performance, particularly for gaming.
It has a 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor for the primary camera along with a 64MP OV64B periscope telephoto lens supporting 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, and an impressive 120x digital zoom. It also features a 48MP Ultra-Wide Camera and utilizes the 4th Gen Hasselblad Camera for Mobile.
Maintaining high durability standards, the OnePlus 12 holds IP65 dustproof and waterproof ratings. It is powered by a robust 5400mAh battery, supporting 100W SuperVOOC fast charging and 50W wireless flash charging. Additionally, it supports wireless reverse charging, achieving a full charge in 26 minutes through wired charging and 55 minutes through wireless charging.
