NVIDIA's budget tablet, Tegra Note 7 blazes in benchmarks shows everyone a thing or two.
The NVIDIA Tegra Note 7 may have a budget price for a tablet at $199, but it isn't a slouch in the performance department. Although, it doesn't support the latest in hardware and has to make do with just 1 GB of RAM but that doesn't prevent it from performing well above other tablets in higher price range. NVIDIA is not actually making these tablets but has only provided the internal and external design specifications which hardware manufacturers have to adhere to. EVGA in the US is making the tablets there while the company has partnered with XOLO in India.
The XOLO Tegra Note 7 is expected soon in India as well, but the price or actual availability has not yet been provided. In terms of hardware the Tegra Note 7 runs on the new Tegra 4 platform, with a 7-inch 1280 x 800 pixels display, 1 GB RAM and DirectStylus technology for better control using the integrated capacitive stylus. With this hardware the Tegra Note scored 33771 on AnTuTu 4, which is higher than the Note 3 which runs on a quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset.
