Nothing phone (1) will be launched on July 12 in India; Expected 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 778G SoC, 50MP Camera
Nothing has confirmed the launch of its first mid-range smartphone the Nothing phone (1) globally including India on July 12th in a Nothing (event): Return to Instinct, after teaser and rumors. This will be the company’s second device after the launch of Nothing ear (1) earbuds.
Last month, the company revealed some new details about the upcoming Nothing phone (1) where a teaser shows a transparent back with wireless charging support and said that the frame will be made of recycled aluminum.

The company also said that the design was based on a map of the New York subway made by Massimo Vignelli and Bob Noord in 1972. The phone will be based on the latest Android with Nothing OS and will get 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates, according to the company.
Earlier rumors revealed that the phone will run on the Snapdragon 778G processor with a 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED screen, 50 MP primary rear camera along with 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro lens, 32MP front-facing camera, and will be available in 8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB storage. It will be powered by a 4500 mAh battery that supports wired fast charging, and wireless charging.
The Nothing Phone (1) launch event will be held on July 12th at 16:00 BST (8:30 PM IST). This will live stream on its social channels on Youtube. The company already announced that it has teamed up with the UK’s O2, Germany’s Telekom Deutschland, and Flipkart for India to sell the phone.
