Nokia Lumia 928 now official with 8.7MP PureView Camera with Optical Image Stabilization, for $99 on Verizon
Nokia has just announced the rumored Lumia 928 for Verizon, it will be available for $99 on Big Red. The phone features a bright Xenon flash, with enhanced Optical Image Stabilization from the Nokia Lumia 920 wherein the entire camera assembly moves wrt your movement to provide better greater stability. The 8.7MP PureView f/2.0 camera in the Nokia Lumia 928 lets you shoot images and videos in both 4:3 and 16:9 ratio without any cropping.
In terms of specifications the Nokia Lumia 928 pretty much akin to the Lumia 920 with a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor with 1GB RAM. The display stands in at 4.5-inches with 720p resolution, and Nokia's PureMotion HD+ branding which reduces flicker and ghosting during high frame rates. The phone also comes with High Amplitude Audio Capture microphones which provide better audio recording and call quality.
As with Nokia's other top models, wireless charging comes built into the Nokia Lumia 928 alongwith a 2000 mAh battery. The Lumia 928 will be available on Verizon beginning 16th May for $99 on a 2-year commitment with the carrier after a $50 mail-in rebate.
