MSI Confirmed Claw 8 AI+ Featuring Intel Core Ultra ‘Lunar Lake’ Processor; Launched Claw Fallout Limited Edition
MSI launched its latest gaming handheld device, the Claw notable for being the first handheld to feature the Intel Core Ultra Processor, earlier this year at CES.
Recently, MSI introduced the Claw Fallout Limited Edition and announced the upcoming release of the MSI Claw 8, which will be the world’s first gaming handheld equipped with the latest 'Lunar Lake' Intel Core Ultra processor.
MSI Claw 8 AI+ with Intel Core Ultra 'Lunar Lake' -
The Claw 8 AI+ is a Windows 11 gaming handheld device, set to be the first powered by the Intel Core Ultra processors (codenamed “Lunar Lake”). It will feature an 8-inch screen, though other details are yet to be disclosed.
MSI has enhanced several hardware specifications based on user feedback, including improved energy efficiency, the addition of a Thunderbolt 4-supported USB-C port, better tactile feel for the LB/RB buttons, increased battery capacity, and a lighter wall-mounted charger. Upon its official release, a one-month free trial of Xbox Game Pass will be offered.
Claw x Fallout Co-branded Special Edition -
At COMPUTEX, AMD and MSI Bethesda launched the limited edition Claw x Fallout co-branded special edition. The design draws inspiration from the game’s vaults, Pip-Boys worn by Vault dwellers, and robots. This edition targets computer game players worldwide and coincides with the recent TV series adaptation of the game.
Intel has officially announced the launch of the Lunar Lake SoCs in Q3 2024, followed by a broader release in Q4 2024. Further information regarding the MSI Claw 8 AI+ handheld is anticipated in the forthcoming months.
