Mozilla to host Firefox OS Developer Conference in India
Mozilla is planning to entice developers in India with a Firefox OS Developer conference. The conference is going to be held in Goa, but we don't have any information regarding the date and time. Mozilla is looking to recruit more developers for its new mobile platform Firefox OS which runs HTML 5 based apps, WhatsApp and Angry Birds are also expected to make an appearance for the new platform.
According to PhoneArena, there will be a number of devices on which developers can have a hands on and test apps, including some from India manufacturers, especially LAVA which has been rumored to be making a Firefox OS device for some time. The Firefox OS Marketplace is a deserted town right now, and an influx of developers from India would truly solidify the presence of the new upcoming platform.
