Motorola signature launched Globally with 6.8-inch 165Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, military-grade durability

Motorola has launched its new ultra-premium smartphone lineup, the Motorola Signature in the Global Market, positioned at the very top of its product portfolio.
Design and Durability -
The Motorola Signature features an ultra-slim 6.99mm quad-curved design built around an aircraft-grade aluminum frame. It comes with textured rear finishes that enhance grip and overall in-hand comfort. The smartphone is available in two distinctive color options: PANTONE Martini Olive with a twill-inspired texture and PANTONE Carbon with a linen-style finish.

Despite its slender profile, the device meets MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and carries IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance, including protection against high-pressure water jets and immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. The phone is also engineered to function reliably in extreme temperatures and high-altitude conditions.
Display -
The smartphone sports a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It offers Super HD resolution with 14% more pixels than standard Full HD and can reach a peak brightness of up to 6200 nits. The panel supports Pantone Validated Display Calibration and Dolby Vision for enhanced visual accuracy and HDR performance.

Camera System -
The Motorola Signature is equipped with a quad 50MP camera system and has earned a DXOMARK Gold Label for its imaging performance. The setup uses Sony LYTIA sensors and supports Dolby Vision video recording with Moto AI-powered image processing.

The device is powered by the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, offering CPU speeds of up to 3.8GHz, improved GPU performance, and enhanced NPU capabilities for multitasking, gaming, and on-device AI workloads. Notably, the motorola signature is the first smartphone to feature a copper mesh liquid metal cooling system, designed to maintain performance during sustained heavy usage.

Battery and Charging -
The motorola signature packs a 5200mAh silicon-carbon battery. According to Motorola, it delivers up to 52 hours of usage, 57 hours of music playback, and 28 hours of continuous video streaming. Charging options include 90W TurboPower fast wired charging, which can provide a full day’s power in about 7 minutes, as well as 50W wireless charging support.
Audio, Software, and AI Features -
On the audio front, the Motorola Signature is equipped with Sound by Bose, dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification, and Snapdragon Sound with aptX Lossless support for high-quality wireless audio.
The smartphone runs Android 16 out of the box, bringing the latest privacy enhancements, improved security features, and expanded customization options. Motorola has also committed to providing up to seven major Android OS updates along with seven years of security patches.
The device integrates moto ai features throughout the system, enabling advanced image recognition, voice assistance, and intelligent power management. These AI capabilities support additional languages including German, French, Italian, Polish, Romanian, and Japanese. Motorola also plans to introduce an on-demand white-glove assistance service for travel, dining, and event planning, which is scheduled to roll out later this year.
Sustainability -
The Motorola Signature has been developed in line with Motorola’s sustainability goals under the Lenovo Group. The smartphone incorporates over 63% recycled metals, including 100% recycled aluminum in the mid-frame, along with recycled plastics such as post-consumer recycled materials and Ocean Bound Plastic.
Its packaging is completely plastic-free, fully recyclable, and printed using soy-based ink. The silicon-carbon battery is rated for up to 1,200 charge cycles, reinforcing the company’s focus on long-term durability and environmental responsibility.

Pricing and Availability -
The Motorola Signature will debut in Europe with a starting price of EUR 999 (approximately USD 1,168 or Rs. 1,05,087). The smartphone will initially go on sale in select European markets, with a wider rollout planned across the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific regions in the following months.

Motorola has already begun teasing the device’s launch in India, suggesting that its arrival in the country is likely to happen soon.
