Moto Z with Moto Mods coming to India in October
Lenovo SVP, Aymar de Lencquesaing has confirmed that the Moto Z along with its Moto Mods will be coming to India in October, where the Moto Mods will be priced between $50-$200.
In an interview with Gadgets360, Lencquesaing said that that Lenovo is looking at a September or October time frame to launch the Moto Z and Moto Mods in the Indian market.
Lenovo is also looking to get a foothold in the offline market, as they already have a strong presence online. With Moto G4 Plus going strong and the new Vibe K5 on its way, there's a good chance that Lenovo will out-do its last quarter. They have already crossed $1 billion in revenue last year in India and are looking to continue this momentum with a bigger product portfolio in every price-segment, where Motorola will continue to be at the helm of the company's premium segment.
Coming to the Moto Mods, Verizon's pricing was leaked a few days ago, and they don't seem as cheap as the Lenovo exec points out. Anyways, the pricing is not year confirmed, but we will keep a close lookout as that would be the key to the success of Motorola's modular ambitions.
