Motorola Teases Upcoming Edge Series Smartphones with New AI Features ahead of India launch; Expected Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro
Motorola has begun teasing the India launch of its upcoming Edge series smartphones, following the recent debut of the Edge 60 Fusion and Edge 60 Stylus earlier this month. The new models are expected to be the Edge 60 Pro and Edge 60, which are set to launch globally on April 24th alongside the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra.
The company is also teasing the introduction of Moto AI 2.0, hinting at the arrival of new AI-powered features with these devices.
According to previous leaks, the Edge 60 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K 10-bit pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, powered by the 4nm Dimensity 8350 processor. It could offer up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Camera specs may include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 13MP 120° ultra-wide lens with macro capabilities, a 10MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera. The device is said to come with an IP68 and IP69-rated water and dust-resistant body and a 6000mAh battery supporting 90W TurboPower fast charging.
The Edge 60 is rumored to sport a 6.7-inch 1.5K curved pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, and the same RAM and storage configuration. It may include a 50MP main camera with Sony’s LYTIA 700C sensor and OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide camera with macro support, a 10MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 50MP selfie camera. It’s also expected to be IP68/IP69 rated and house a 5200mAh battery with 68W TurboPower fast charging.
An official launch date for India is expected to be announced soon.
