Motorola Droid Turbo for Verizon goes official with a 5.2-inch QHD display, 21 MP camera
Motorola and Verizon in a join press event today announced the Droid Turbo with 5.2-inch quad-HD AMOLED display running on the powerful 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 SoC with 3 GB RAM and Adreno 420 GPU.
But that's not all, the Turbo manages to make the new Moto X look obsolete with a 21 MP primary camera with 4K recording and a humongous 3900 mAh battery. The body of the new Droid Turbo is re-inforced with Du-Pont Kevlar, a signature of the Droid series on Verizon. There are two variants of the Droid Turbo on offer, one with ballistic nylon or the other with metallized glass fiber.
It will be available starting on October 30th for $199.99 on contract for a 32GB model or $249.99 on contract for a 64GB version.
