Moto X gets permanent price-cut to $399, unlocked and off-contract
As a New Year celebration Moto X has received its permanent price-cut to $399, that too unlocked and off-contract. Considering its original launch price to be $550, its quite a bargain now. Even though the Moto X is Motorola's flagship device, it certainly does not have the specs to show for it. Motorola insists that it is not going into the specs war and wants to make phones that people actually want to use and not just to nerd out on specs.
Considering that most Android flagships have moved to quad-core or even octa-core processors, Motorola's claims still fall a bit short especially where performance is concerned. So let's have a loot at what 4 benjamins will fetch you.

The Moto X wasn't the resounding success Motorola was hoping for or so desperately needed, but it is still keeping the company relevant in one of the most ruthless businesses in the world.
