Alleged customization options for Moto X to include back panel colors, engraving
After going all patriotic on US with the print-ad of the Moto X, which will be manufactured in the USA, some details about its customization options is finally coming out. Motorola's claim that the Moto X will be "the first smartphone you can design yourself", will include options to choose the color of the back panel and the trim around the device. Then you'll also have the option to engrave a message on the backcover of the Moto X.
Apart from that, if this report turns out to be true you'll also have a customized software experience by choosing the default wallpaper you see when the phone boots for the first time, you'll be able to upload the image that you want as your wallpaper. The Moto X will be available on all major carriers and the Play Store, where the Play Store version will be customizable. Seeing this will be the first phone of Motorola under Google, we are expecting a clean bloatfree Android experience and great hardware to boot, which the company has always been known for.
