There is a huge change in design from the Moto G4 series, the Moto M has a metal back and the fingerprint sensor has also been moved to back. Coming to specs, the Moto M packs a 5.5-inch 1080p full-HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass for protection on top. It runs on the new Helio P15 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. There's 4 GB RAM onboard and 64 GB storage which can be expanded up to 256 GB with a microSD card. There is a 3 GB RAM variant with 32 GB onboard storage as well.

Again, getting back to the build there's P2i nano-coating to prevent any damage from water splashes but you can't dip it in water.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G VoLTE support, dual-band WiFi ac, Bluetooth, and GPS. It has a USB Type-C port which supports fast charging for the 3050 mAh non-removable battery. You will get the fast charger within the box.
