Micromax Canvas Fantabulet arrives with massive 6.98-inch display priced at Rs. 7499

Micromax today announced a new phablet, which is bordering on being a tablet that can make calls. The Canvas Fantabulet comes with a huge 6.98-inch HD IPS display which gives it a pretty mediocre pixel density of 210 PPI. It runs on a quad-core MediaTek MT8382W processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage which is thankfully expandable.

The Canvas Fantabulet runs on pretty dated Android 5.0 Lollipop, has an 8MP rear auto-focus camera alonwith a 2MP front-facing camera for selfies. It is a dual-SIM 3G device, supports WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS along with FM Radio.

There are two speakers at the back of the device with support for DTS sound. Micromax has packed a 3000 mAh battery on the Fantabulet and one of the most striking things about the device is its design. It looks pretty unique. However, the weird naming scheme seems to be a last minute thought as even the promotional material and press images show CanvasTab branding.

Micromax Canvas Fantabulet F666 will be available in Chrome Gold color only priced at Rs. 7,499 and is now available on Flipkart. There are a few offers from Saavn Pro, Gaana, Eros Now as well.
