Micromax launches Canvas 2.2 A114 with 5-inch qHD display, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor for Rs. 12999
Micromax has just launched the Canvas 2.2 A114 on online retailer Flipkart, the new phone in the Canvas series features 5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display, new 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor with PowerVR SGX544 MP GPU alongwith spacious 1GB RAM running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. There's a 8MP auto-focus camera with LED flash as well as a 2MP front-facing camera for video calling. You can record Full HD 1080p videos using the primary camera.

The Canvas 2.2 quite obviously draws parallels to the Canvas 2 Plus A110Q which was launched earlier in the year. The Canvas 2 Plus too has a quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP/2MP camera combination alongwith the same GPU and storage. Even the battery remains the same, but you can record 1080p videos which is not possible with the Canvas 2 Plus A110Q.
You can buy the Canvas 2.2 A114, ridiculous naming aside, from Flipkart for Rs. 12,999.
