Xiaomi Mi Band 5 to be announced on June 11 with 1.2-inch AMOLED screen, Sp02 sensor, new sports modes
Update - Today, Xiaomi has posted a new teaser image that confirms the design of the band with Black, Green, and Orange colored bands. It also confirms that the band will come with pressure monitoring, the option to track women’s health like mensuration and sports modes like rowing machines, yoga, and rope skipping. It also supports mobile payments with the NFC version.
Earlier - Xiaomi has finally confirmed to introduce its latest Smart band the Mi Band 5 in China on June 11, this is the successor of last year’s Mi Band 4. As per the leaked images, it has a Mi Wear app, and it looks like a similar design as the Mi Band 4.
It comes with a slightly larger 1.2-inch AMOLED display and has some features like Sp02 sensor for Blood Oxygen monitoring, PAI (Personal Activity Intelligence) that available in Amazfit products, an analog clock face option built-in.
This time company says, it has integrated Alexa's support in partnership with Amazon, but it might be available on the higher-end model as similar Mi Band 4 NFC version had XiaoAI that only available in China. The Mi Band 5 comes with some common features such as World Clock, Calendar, Menstruation/Period tracking, meditation guidance, and also comes with 5 new sports modes - yoga, elliptical machine, rowing machine, skipping rope and indoor bicycle.
