Meizu Pro 6s launched with 5.2-inch AMOLED 3D Touch display, 12MP Sony IMX386 Camera
Meizu Pro 6s has just been launched in China running on the deca-core Helio X25 processor which packs the Mali T-880 GPU. The Pro 6s has a similar design to its predecessor with the antenna bands pushed to the top of the all metal enclosure. This was done first by Meizu and then incorporated in the new iPhones by Apple. The sides are also rounded to make the phone easier to grip and you have 2.5D curved glass in the front to blend everything seamlessly. To top it all off there's a 's' on the back similar to, you know what I am getting at here.
On the specs front, you will also find something similar, a 5.2-inch full-HD AMOLED display which supports 3D Touch. It has its own version of the0 Taptic engine built into the smartphone which gives vibration feedback as you press on the glass surface. The display is able to understand when you are pressing it harder or for a longer duration which is used in various gestures.
On the camera front, the Pro 6s uses the 12MP Sony IMX386 CMOS sensor for the rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, and 4-axis optical image stabilization, It is capable of recording 4K videos as well. In the front, you get a 5MP camera for selfies. In the front, you have the fingerprint sensor which doubles up as the home button, back button as well as power key at times with mTouch.
On the inside, you will also find a 3060 mAh battery which is capable of fast charging with the included 24 Watt charger and it uses a USB Type-C port. Right next to which you will find the speaker with SmartPA amplifier along with CirrusLogic chip for better sound reproduction via the headphone jack. Coming to connectivity options you have support for dual-band WiFi ac, 4G VoLTE with up to Cat.6 speeds (300 Mbps) as well as the usual Bluetooth 4.1, GPS support. It is a dual-SIM smartphone with two nano-SIM slots. All this runs on Flyme OS which is based on Android.
Meizu Pro 6s has been priced at 2699 Yuan (Rs. 26700 / $400) and will be available in China for pre-order starting today in silver, black, pink, and gold color options. It will be going on sale on November 7th.
