    Meizu M3 1

Meizu is making the most out of April with the launch of the Meizu Pro 6, M3 Note and now we also have the budget Meizu M3 android smartphones.

If you haven't heard of its predecessor, the Meizu M2, you can watch our review at the end of this article. Coming back to the Meizu M3, its now running on the MediaTek MT6750 octa-core (Cortex-A53) processor as opposed to MT6735 on the M2. You will be able to get the Meizu M3 in two configurations, 2GB RAM with 16 GB built-in storage or 3GB RAM with 32GB built-in storage.

You can also expand storage with the hybrid microSD card slot. The M3 is still mostly made of polycarbonate and will come in blue, pink, gold, grey white and black colors. The sad thing here is that the Meizu M3 doesn't have a fingerprint sensor.

There's  still a 5-inch HD display onboard with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels but there;s 2.5D curved glass in the front for added aesthetics and better overall ergonomics. There is a 13MP rear camera on the Meizu M3 with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash while you get a 5MP front-facing selfie camera here as well.

    Meizu M3 2

Meizu has been able to pack a 2870 mAh battery on the M3 even though its quite thin at just about 8.3mm. Connectivity options depend on regions and in China you have support for WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS alongwith dual-SIM support.

    Pricing and Availability

The Meizu M3 will come in at a price of CNY 599 which roughly comes out to be Rs. 6200 ($92) in India for the 2GB/16GB variant while the 3GB RAM variant will come in at CNY799 (about Rs. 8200/ $123). It is now available from the Meizu official store in China and there is no word on a global release on when the Meizu M3 is coming to India.
