LG Unveils the LG SIGNATURE OLED T, the World's First Wireless Transparent OLED TV

LG introduced its latest breakthrough in the television realm, the LG SIGNATURE OLED T at CES 2024. Marketed as the 'World's First Wireless Transparent OLED TV,' this innovative device showcases LG's transparent OLED screen and cutting-edge wireless video and audio transmission technology.

Featuring a 77-inch transparent 4K OLED panel that virtually disappears when switched off, the LG SIGNATURE OLED T eliminates the presence of a dominating black screen that may clash with home decor, according to the company.

Equipped with the new α (Alpha) 11 AI processor, this TV delivers four times the AI performance, a 70 percent enhancement in graphic performance, and a 30 percent faster processing speed compared to its predecessor.

The wireless TV comes with LG's Zero Connect Box, utilizing advanced wireless transmission technology to send 4K images and sound to the OLED T. This technology allows users the flexibility to place their TV anywhere, irrespective of the location of electrical outlets in the room.

The LG SIGNATURE OLED T offers a dual viewing experience, allowing users to switch between transparent and opaque modes. In transparent mode, the OLED T transforms into a see-through digital canvas for displaying artwork, videos, or photos with its AOD feature. Alternatively, the T-Bar feature provides a useful info-ticker running along the lower part of the screen, presenting weather updates, news alerts, and more.
