LG announces L Series III entry-level and mid-range smartphones with Android 4.4 KitKat
LG has just announced a trio of smartphones in its L Series III range. The new Series III features entry-level and mid-range smartphones with display's ranging from 3.5-inch to 4.7-inch alongwith Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. The three phones in the series are L40, L70 and L90. Let's have a loot at them separately.
LG L40 Specifications
The LG L40 is the entry-level smartphone in the new L Series III.
- Display: 3.5-inch, 320 x 480 pixels
- Processor: 1.2 GHz dual-core
- OS: Android 4.4 KitKat
- Memory: 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage expandable upto 32 GB
- Camera: 3 MP primary
- Battery: 1700 mAh or 1540 mAh depending upon market
LG L70 Specifications
The L70 is a step up from the L40 and features mid-range specs.
- Display: 4.5-inch IPS, WVGA, 800 x 480 pixels
- Processor: 1.2 GHz dual-core
- OS: Android 4.4 KitKat
- Memory: 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal storage expandable to 32 GB
- Camera: 8MP or 5 MP depending upon market
- Battery: 2100 mAh
LG L90 Specifications
The LG L90 is the top model in the new L Series III smartphones, albeit it features mid-range specs as well but a bigger and higher resolution display than the L70.
- Display: 4.7-inch IPS, qHD, 960 x 540 pixels
- Processor: 1.2 GHz quad-core
- OS: Android 4.4 KitKat
- Memory: 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage expandable to 32 GB
- Camera: 8 MP primary, 1.3 MP front-facing
- Battery: 2540 mAh
