LG G3 Beat with Snapdragon 400, 5-inch HD display, Laser AF camera announced
LG G3 Beat has gone official with a 5-inch HD display with an awesome screen-to-body ratio of 74.1%. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage which is expandable using microSD cards running Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
The G3 Beat also comes with a 8 MP primary camera which uses the same Laser AutoFocus tech as the flagship G3. There's also a 1.3 MP front-facing camera available. Connectivity options include optional 4G LTE support in some regions while others get 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS with GLONASS support as well as NFC. The LG G3 Beat follows the same design language as the G3 which LG calls the Floating arc alongwith metallic hints here and there.
LG will be shipping the G3 Beat in South Korea starting July 18th, while Europe will get it next month where it will be called the LG G3s. In Russia the G3s has been priced at RUB 13,990 (about $401 or Rs. 24,200). It will be available in Metallic Black, Shine Gold and Silk White colors.
