ZUK Edge launched with 5.5-inch display, 86.4% screen-to-body ratio, Snapdragon 821, Android 7.0 Nougat
Lenovo ZUK Edge is now finally official with an edge-to-edge 5.5-inch 1080p display which gives the phone a whopping 86.4% screen to body ratio. But that's not all, ZUK has still managed to pack the Edge with Snapdragon 821 SoC clocked at 2.35 GHz with 6GB RAM. ZUK Edge has one of the highest screen-to-body-ratio for 5.5-inch smartphones
The bezels on the display are just 1.63mm wide, and along with the thinner frame surrounding it, you get a very compact 5.5-inch smartphone. In the front, you will also find the U-Touch fingerprint sensor which is hidden under glass, so it is a capacitive sensor which can be customized. You also have support for Alipay, Paypal in China. Both the front and back are covered in hardened 2.5D curved glass, and the ZUK Edge will come in ceramic white and titanium black color options. There is a special ZUK Edge L variant endorsed by Lee Min-ho, which comes with an inscribed L on the back of the phone.
On the imaging front, there's a 13 MP rear camera with phase-detection autofocus, Samsung ISOCELL sensor with f/2.2 aperture lens. For selfies, there's an 8MP front camera with large 1.12-micron pixel size. The rear camera can capture 4K videos at 30 FPS while the front camera is restricted to 1080p. At the back, you will also find a heart rate sensor which can also help keep a track of blood oxygen levels.
ZUK Edge Pricing and Availability
The ZUK Edge has been priced at 2299 Yuan (Rs. 22460 / $330) for the 4 GB RAM variant while the 6 GB RAM variant costs 2499 Yuan (Rs. 24430 / $359). It is available to order now in China and will be going on sale starting January 1st.
