Lenovo Z2 Plus with Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM launching in India on September 22nd, expected pricing around Rs. 20,000
Lenovo is gearing up to launch the Z2 Plus in India on September 22nd. The flagship ZUK series smartphone will come to India as the Lenovo Z2 Plus packing a 5-inch 1080p LTPS display running on the Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor.
There's 4GB RAM on offer and 64GB storage which is non-expandable but you do get USB OTG support over the USB 2.0 Type-C port on the device. The Z2 Plus also features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, ISOCELL sensor, phase-detection auto-focus as well as an 8MP front facing camera. The rear camera can record 4K videos.
There's a fingerprint sensor which doubles up as the home button in the front. The Z2 Plus is primarily made of plastic but does have a metal frame for rigidity. Connectivity options include dual-band WiFi, Dual-SIM 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. All this is tucked in an 8.45mm thin body with a massive 3500 mAh battery inside which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
At present there is no word on pricing but we expect the Lenovo Z2 Plus to be priced around Rs. 20,000 in India. We will know more at the launch event on September 22nd.
