Lenovo Vibe K5 Note now launching on August 1st in India
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note will launch on August 1st in India, earlier the upgraded K5 Note was set to launch on July 20th.
The new Vibe K5 Note was first introduced in China with Helio P10 octa-core SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage running Android 5.1 Lollipop. But it seems the company will launch the 4GB RAM variant in India with Android Marshmallow, given that this would be an upgrade over the K4 Note.
On the camera front, there is a 13MP rear unit with f/2.2 aperture lens, Phase-detection AutoFocus, LED flash capable of recording 1080p videos accompanied by an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. You will also find a fingerprint sensor at the back and a 3500 mAH battery which is non-removable.
Given the battery capacity, the Vibe K5 Note is relatively quite thin at 8.5mm and has a metal construction. TheatreMax makes a return here as well for a mobile VR experience. At present there is no word on pricing but we expect the Vibe K5 Note to be priced under Rs. 15,000. We will know more from the launch event, subscribe for updates.
