Is it a phone, is it a tablet? Nope, its the Lenovo Phab Plus with a 6.8-inch display
Large phones are here to stay. But phones with larger than 6-inch displays are really pushing the limit. Lenovo doesn't seem to think so, and the result: Lenovo Phab Plus with a 6.8-inch display.
The Lenovo Phab Plus went on sale today in China packing a 6.8-inch 1080p IPS display running on the Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with 2GB RAM, 32GB of expandable storage. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Lenovo's custom VibeUI skin on top. It is a dual-SIM device with a hybrid SIM card slot which can be used to expand storage.
There's a 13MP camera at the back alongwith a 5MP front-camera taking camera of the imaging department. Dolby Atmos is also available here, alongwith a 3500 mAh battery. Considering the size of the phone, it weight of 220 grams shouldn't be a surprise.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and FM Radio. The Lenovo Phab Plus is available in Grey and Silver colors, priced at 2,599 Yuan (about Rs. 27000 or $400.) At present there is no word on a global launch.
