Lenovo Legion gaming phone launching on July 22 with FHD+ 144Hz display, Snapdragon 865+, up to 16GB RAM; Official Image surfaced
Update - Lenovo has officially confirmed by posting an image of the phone that reveals no-notch on display, side-mounted pop-up front camera, and dual rear cameras beside the center. The front-facing 20 MP pop-up camera can rise in just 0.496 seconds and go back in 0.5 seconds. According to the company, it has tested over 400,000 times for the durability of the camera.
Earlier - Lenovo has confirmed to introduce its first flagship smartphone Legion gaming phone on July 22 after the teaser, and on the same day ASUS ROG Phone 3 will also announce. The company has also confirmed that this phone will be first smartphones to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 865+ processor with up to 3.1 GHz prime core, which offers a 10% increase in CPU and GPU performance.
AnTuTu benchmark reveals he phone with model number L79031 with a score of 648871 points, which is slightly greater than 646310 points of ROG Phone 3. It also reveals Full HD+ (2340×1080 pixels) with 144Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling rate, up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The company already confirmed that the phone comes with dual 45W ports (90W) for fast charging support out of the box. The newly designed phone has heat dissipation architecture, 14 temperature sensors, dual X-axis linear motors, and additional USB Type-C port on the side useful when playing games.
