Lenovo has started rolling out Android Marshmallow update for the Vibe X3 in India
Lenovo Vibe X3 is now being updated to Android Marshmallow in India. According to several of our users, an OTA update weighing in at about 1711 MB is being rolled out to Vibe X3 devices in India.
If you haven't received the update yet, just head over to Settings -> About phone and check for updates. It is advisable to download such a huge update over WiFi.
There are a few things to keep in mind before installing the update though. If you have chosen the default write disk as external storage, you need to switch it back to internal storage and move all apps back otherwise they will not be accessible after the update. Moreover the fingerprints stores on the device will also be removed, therefore you would have to add your fingerprints again after the installation.
