    Lava has officially announced the launch of its new smartphones, the Lava Storm Play and Storm Lite 5G, scheduled for June 13th in India. The company is expanding its Storm series lineup with these two new models aimed at enhancing its budget 5G portfolio. Lava says the devices will deliver a strong mix of performance and modern features.

    The Storm Play is a fresh entrant, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset — an upgrade over the Dimensity 7025 — and is designed to appeal to younger gamers. It will feature LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage to boost both gaming and multitasking capabilities.

    On the other hand, previous reports suggest the Storm Lite will sport a 6.78-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Lava is positioning both models as offering “uncompromised performance, bold design, and advanced 5G capabilities.” Once launched, they will be available via Amazon.in and the Lava E-store.
