Lava Storm Lite 5G and Storm Play 5G launched in India starting from Rs. 7,999 with 6.75-inch 120Hz LCD screen, Dimensity 6400/7060 SoC
Lava has officially launched its latest budget smartphones, the Lava Storm Lite 5G and Storm Play 5G in India, as previously announced. Both devices come equipped with a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD screen featuring a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Storm Lite 5G is among the first smartphones to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset. It comes with 4GB of RAM and sports a 50MP rear camera. Both smartphones run a clean version of Android 15, free from bloatware. Lava has also committed to one major Android update and two years of security updates for both models.
On the other hand, the Storm Play 5G debuts with the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor. It stands out as the first in its segment to offer 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM along with UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, it features a 2MP secondary rear camera. Both phones come with an 8MP front-facing camera. Powering the devices is a 5000mAh battery, with the Storm Lite supporting 15W charging and the Storm Play offering 18W charging.

The Lava Storm Lite 5G will be available in Astral Blue and Cosmic Titanium color options, with a starting price of Rs. 7,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. This is a limited-time launch offer, and the phone will go on sale via Amazon.in starting June 24th at 12 PM.
The Lava Storm Play 5G is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model, also under a limited-time offer. It will be available on Amazon.in starting June 19th at 12 PM.
