Lava teases Iris Pro, to come with a HD display, quad-core processor

Lava has begun teasing its new Iris Pro series, which will feature HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and 1.2Ghz dual-core processor. The phone being teased looks a lot like the iPhone 5, which isn't really bad.

Lava has been trying to up the ante with its Iris 504Q which has some gesture controls and may infuse some new life in the already over-crowded 5-inch quad-core handsets flooding the Indian market. The phone looks sleek, seems to have a metallic body and a dual-LED flash.

Although the phone does look like the iPhone 5, if good materials are not used in its manufacturing, it would just seem like a cheap knock-off. The first phone in the new Iris Pro series will be available come August 25th. Just watch the video and judge for yourself.
